Ferndale Flat

A 2-person (+ cot) flat in a two-storey coach house-style timber building in a quiet, rural location in the Corvedale, South Shropshire.  This is a designated area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, well placed for walking (on the Shropshire Way and other local paths) and sightseeing (Ludlow, Church Stretton and the Shropshire Hills,. Much Wenlock and Wenlock Edge are all nearby), and the famous Ironbridge Gorge museums are not far away.

The building is set in the grounds of the main house, Ferndale, which has seven acres of garden, woodland, wild flower bank and sheep grazing.  There are excellent views from the balcony towards Wenlock Edge and in the opposite direction is the Brown Clee, the highest spot in Shropshire.  Guests are very welcome to explore the grounds.

The kitchen, sitting room and bedroom are on the first floor and bathroom is on the ground floor so this property may not be suitable for those who find stairs too difficult.

The Ferndale Flat is an eco-friendly timber construction with a high level of insulation, solar water heating and rainwater harvesting for toilet flushing.  Other eco-friendly provision includes low energy lighting, a wind-up radio, facilities for recycling and chemical-free cleaning products.

Ready for letting from Good Friday, 2 April 2010 onwards.

Prices: £175-£375
